JOIN ME ON A TRIP TO CAPTURE THE REMNANTS AROUND THE WORLD
The upcoming public trip is Mongolia (Tentatively June 1-12, 2023). The trip is in collaboration with Primero Conservation Outfitters and Kerim Tour. Both are local partners who live the landscapes and cultures of Mongolia.

This 12-day adventure will take us into the heart of the Mongolian Altai Mountain
range. The Altais feature high snow-capped mountains, glaciers, rivers, lakes, and
ancient archaeological sites, and they are home to some truly unique nomadic peoples:
Mongolia’s Kazakhs and Tuvans. We will also stayed two nights in Ulaanbaatar to explore local jobs.

Visit the Eagle Hunter near Ulgii
We will drive to Sagsay through the Khovd River Valley and camp near an eagle-hunter and his family. Here, we will learn all about eagle hunting. Eagle-hunters typically use female birds because they are bigger, stronger, and more aggressive than their male counterparts. Hunters typically keep their birds for 10 years before releasing them back into the wild.
